Smaller Ad Networks Getting More Attention


If your small or medium business is thinking of using online advertising networks, you might consider doing what at least one of the big agencies is doing: target your audience like a laser beam using some of the many vertical ad networks.

That’s what Razorfish is doing, according to a new report the online agency released (covered in Mediaweek). Even though these ad nets reach a smaller audience than huge online portal sites, their audience could be just the people you want to reach. So, it’s a good sign that large ad agencies – who could afford the expensive ads that reach millions – are increasing adding ad nets to the mix.
